Day 23 - Statue

This is my small but very sincere tribute to Lmorrow57 and the sizzling work she has been doing with her statuary theme. I've had this smiling Buddha for some time, he is just 6cm/two and a quarter inches tall so I had to try and make him seem taller.

  1. You succeeded because he looks gigantic from the angle you took. Fabulous metallic color and detail! I love how you included the blue sky just like in some of Lmorrow57's shots :)

  2. Very nice! I first had to look at it for a while to decipher it. Love that orange and blue and the shiny reflections.

  3. Nice background. A well chosen colour to go with the bronze of the statue.

  6. I think that the 36mm macro tube will make the best angles and details. This one is great: I love the colors, the details in the metal and (shure!) the tribute to Lmorrow. Fantatsic again!

  7. It's impossible to tell his size cos the angle and shallow DOF mean he could be any size. Lovely warm colours too. Well done.

  8. Oh Isabella! Thank you so much! I knew right away it was a Buddha but I LOVE the perspective you used. It makes him look so grand and very big! I feel as if I am kneeling in a great presence! I am honored.
