Day 26 - Python
Another cute and cuddly Aussie critter. The carpet python are quite harmless to humans - in fact they make great pets, if you like that sort of thing. They are found all over Au - I've seen a few and even had an enormous one hung around my neck at a snake park - they are quite dry and warm to touch.

Where are you getting these little "critters"?
ReplyDeleteGood job photographing them!'
Funny comment from Gareth!!
I like they way you have it coming out at us. Smiling!
ReplyDeleteI have a photo of my eldest son aged 5 with one around his neck in an animal park in Townsville.
I have a fear of them and worked at a farm that had one that slept in the rafters above, I was scared to walk under it in case it got a fright and fell on me.
A smiley snake! I just love all these little critters y'all have!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll stay living where I am. What a great capture this is - very nicely composed.
ReplyDeleteThis snake have great details and you are showing his wonderful expression. Great shot!
