A bit of an abstract - 6 knives stacked and taken from their ends. The amount of fluff that showed up was amazing, something you have to watch out for with macro pics, so I made it darker than I'd have liked.

TRANSPORT!!!I'm attempting (again? must be MAD) to take an image every day for 31 days. My theme is transport especially cars which to be honest I've never photographed before except for a few wedding cars. I was thinking of doing 2 cars then another type of transport, and continuing in that sequence until the end of the month. You can click on any pic for a larger view. Please do leave me a comment as I appreciate each and every one :-) and the encouragement really does help to keep one going.

Cool abstract. I'd never have guessed what they were unless you said. I too have found dust and fluff excessively irritating! Great job hiding it. :)

ReplyDeleteGetting any glossy surface perfectly clean is a job for specialists. Shooting video for a manufacturer of (mostly metal) kitchen supplies told me that lesson in a crash course :) Fingerprints, dust, grease, all sorts of stuff people had to polish off before we could to that scene -- and once an actor had touched the surface (per the script) the cleaning started over again. Talk about productivity :)

Great shot, works well as an abstract. I think I'd have been tempted to clone out the two errant highlights at the top of the picture, but I like it nonetheless.

I had a hard time figuring this out even when you said what it was. Nice graphic result though. Love the yellow and black colour combination.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I’d be afraid to even try to deal with the dust and fingerprints that show up on shiny things. It might make me sad to actually see the dirt on my utensils. It’s probably a miracle that I survive. :) Awesome set of photos so far, I cant wait to see what’s next.
