Day 24 - Red Hat Day
I was out having coffee with friends the other day and saw these red hats on top of some cup cakes, you know how you think? I should take this home and take a photo of it? Well, I did bring it home but forgot all about it till today - it's sitting on top of two coins, a quarter from the states on the left and a ten cent coin from Au. on the right to show how small it is. The rest - someone ate ;-)

Lovely colors. There a a group of ladies here all around the states I think they are the Purple and red hat ladies. They go together to theater events and art events I think. They would love these cupcakes! I thought it was a ceramic piece. But when I saw it was edible I was amazed! And so small!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute hat! What have you done with it now? Squished it? Eaten it? Frozen it???
ReplyDeleteAmazing vivid colours very nice shot what does it taste like?
ReplyDeleteI cant believe someone is talented enough to make something like that out of icing! You did a good job showing it to us!
ReplyDeleteHow cute....I thought it was a pin or something those Red Hat ladies use!
ReplyDeleteYes it's made of icing, the kind that goes hard, like on top of a wedding cake. We have the red hat ladies here too, I've seen them around the place.
ReplyDeleteI took a real chance and washed it which is why it's so shiny, as it had crumbs all over it.
Very cute, and very shiny for icing. Great colours and it is so tiny! Can't believe someone goes to the trouble of making such tiny delicate things for people to eat! Admirable!
ReplyDeleteThis is the cutest teeny weeny hat I've ever seen. The water made it look glazed which I think adds to its cuteness factor.
ReplyDeleteReally vibrant colours, and I think the glazed look that you got after washing it really makes it POP!
